TWO DAY CLASS: 3/13, 5-9 pm & 3/20, 5-9 pm.
Learn to help someone developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. We'll introduce a 5-step strategy to assess risk, support a person in crisis, and identify additional resources and professional support. This 8-hour course, held over two evenings, 5-9 pm, is for anyone 18 years or older interested in learning more about mental illness and addiction. This is a certification class. Registration includes $20 manual/reference guide developed and published by Mental Health First Aid USA.
